Week 15 Picks

I don’t have a lot to say this morning, so here’s a weird commercial starring former CFL QB Buck Pierce:

This week’s game as are follows:

Week 15

  • The Angry Birds looked positively awful last week as they lost to the lowly Riders.  The RODBLACKS didn’t play their best football last week either, so look for them to bounce back.  Rakeem ‘THE DREAM’ Cato gets the start for the Als, and he likely should’ve had it last week, too.  Prediction: Ottawa by 8
  • Three weeks ago this would’ve been a marquee match up.  Now it’s a matter of how much the Stumps are going to win by.  While the Stumps have lost two key players (Juwan Simpson and Joe Burnett) for a significant amount of time, it doesn’t compare to the Kitty Cats losing their leader.  This weekend the Kitty Cats are going to get a look at life without Sad Sack Collaros, and I don’t think it’ll be very pretty.  Prediction: Calgary by 12
  • MATTY ICE will no doubt we looking for REVENGE this week as he faces his former team.  Too bad his only win since coming over from the Schmoes is a one against the wretched Riders.  The Schmoes did not look good last week, and it was only because BC had over a dozen two-and-outs in the second half last week that they were able to get back into the game and put some drives together.  They need to get off to a better start this week.  I think this game will be closer than it should be.  Prediction: Edmonton by 4
  • Can the Riders make it two in a row?  Possibly.  Will they?  Probably not.  The Riders haven’t won a game on the road since sometime last year.  Then again, BC hasn’t exactly been lighting it up at home this season.  It’s a battle of the inept, but I think the Riders will end up on top.  Why?  I haven’t a clue.  Prediction: Riders by 6
